Before You Book

Please ensure that prior to booking any lessons, you have read (and agree with) my terms and conditions.

Before you start any lessons, you will need access to a guitar, and also a guitar tuner. You can download a free app for this, or you can buy a physical one.

Don't know how to tune? Don't worry! I will talk you through tuning if you don't already know how to.

Also please note- your guitar will need a quick tune before each lesson to keep it sounding great!

If you have any guitar picks, keep them handy and ready for the lesson. You may also benefit from using a capo (a small, clip on accessory to help you play accurately to the original, depending on the song), and these are also inexpensive. If you would like to purchase any picks or a capo, please see my shop.

You may have an idea of the style of music you are interested in learning, and that' a great starting point! When you book your first lesson, please add in the type of music you are interested in learning, and even better an artist or band, and even better again, any particular songs.

If you already have access to any particular music you would like to look at, feel free to send it over so that it is ready for the lesson.
